On Saturday, December 7th, we’ll be hosting our first workshop at The Depanneur. “The Depanneur is a place where interesting food things happen.” Featuring talented local chefs and drop-in dinners that focus on fresh, local ingredients, The Dep, is a food lover’s gem. This December, they’ll be opening up their doors on the weekends to feature DIY Holiday Gift Making Workshops. From Mince Meat to Gourmet Chocolate, these family-friendly events will teach you the skills to make beautiful gifts for your loved ones.
On Saturday, December 7th, we’ll be hosting a DIY Spa Gifts Workshop. We’ll show you how to make Spa Products for all your special ladies – moms, friends, sisters and daughters (or yourself!). We’ll make an exfoliating scrub with warming aromas, a clay facial mask infused with flowers, and a silky smooth lip balm.
During the workshop, we’ll show you step-by-step how to make each product and explain the benefits of the ingredients so you can customize your blends. We use only natural ingredients – organic oils, raw honey, essential oils, ground flowers, natural clays – suitable for even the most delicate skin.
Each participant will take home a lip balm, a scrub and a mask and we’ll also provide labels for you to decorate your gifts and a booklet with our recipes.
Date: Saturday, December 7th from 4-6:30pm
Cost: $40 +HST, Kids under 12 are half off!}
