Summer Fermentation Workshop - SOLD OUT

  • Roncesvalles United Church 240 Roncesvalles Avenue Toronto Canada (map)

Learn how to make your own fermented foods at home. From tasty krauts and kimchi to fermented brines like 'real' dill pickles and spicy green beans, there are endless ways to create healthy ferments at home that the whole family will love.

You'll learn how to ferment safely and how to properly store ferments. We'll also discuss the health benefits, how they compare to probiotic supplements and how best to integrate them into your diet.

You'll make 3 jars of ferments to take home - an incredible Chili Paste that can be used as is or turned into a variety of hot sauces, a delicious salsa that makes adding fermented foods to meals a delight, and the crunchiest dill pickles - plus a booklet with instructions and our favourites recipes.

Thank you for an amazing afternoon of fermenting! I just tried my creations and love them all and am having to stop myself from eating everything. Absolutely delicious!! The radishes are sublime. The entire experience was wonderful and interesting, learning the process and health benefits of fermenting in a fun and welcoming environment, working with my hands to create nurturing and tasty foods. A joyous experience.
