Kombucha is a fermented drink that contains beneficial nutrients, enzymes and acids that improve digestion, increase energy and boost immunity. This workshop will focus on crafting this healing, delicious beverage with the added benefit and flavour of beautifully infused botanicals - including wild flowers, herbs and roots! We’ll make a traditional tea brew as well as purely herbal batches using therapeutic herbs like rose and chaga mushroom!
The perfect class for anyone who is new to kombucha brewing, or wishes to enhance their current home-brew in new and magical ways!
Students will learn how to brew Kombucha, which flowers, herbs and roots are best suited to one another in order to craft a variety of tasty blends. How to customize their brew for various healthful benefits, including digestive support, immunity, glowing skin and more.
Each participant will receive their own SCOBY, starter liquid and a handout with brewing instructions to take home. Full follow-up support via phone or email is offered post-workshop to ensure your brewing success.
